A message from Rep. Al Green, D-Texas:

Well since I left these people back on August 31st, no one has been home to visit from my community. At this point in time that are available to me I will support Hillary and I will support anybody. That I know for a fact. Right now, I’m not trying to be a part of any campaign where there’s no hope of victory. I had to leave. I had no choice.

I’m a true believer in my heart but again Hillary Clinton is going to be the nominee and I have seen the poll numbers and that is exactly why my vote has not been with anyone. Clinton came out here and said it over and over and over. I may have strong feelings but when it’s all said and done they should go back up in the heavens. If it weren’t for me Hillary wouldn’t be a contender for our nation’s highest office. She doesn’t have the time or the inclination. She’s hoping we have, and it’s just not there. It’s not there.

The last person I wanted to bring back home was Dr. King and I brought him back home. He didn’t agree with me. And when he couldn’t say what he wanted to say, he came back home. He gave me authority to bring the unrepentant home. He was adamant that they come home, no matter how bad their past was.

And where is Dr. King when we need him? Where are these people when we need them?
